In the Media Arts Pathway at Atherton there are a few teachers, Mrs. McArthur being one of them. Mrs. McArthur teaches Intro to Media Arts, Video Studio Fundamentals, and IB Film.
Video Studio Fundamentals is the second class in the Media Arts Pathway. The class is all about video and video projects. The IB film class watches films and analyzes them, the class also makes 2 films during the year, one in winter and one in spring.
Mrs. McArthur started teaching in 2002, and has been at Atherton since 2019. She started her teaching career at Fern Creek and took a hiatus to raise her children before coming to Atherton.
Mrs. McArthur worked in the news business before becoming a teacher. Although she liked how everyday was different in the news field, it was not the best career for her when she had children.
Outside of school, Mrs. Mcarthur enjoys spending time with her family, reading, doing puzzles, and going for walks.
