At the track meet on February 5th, athletes placed in numerous events.
Valentina Arroyo placed first for the girls 60m hurdles, with a time of 11.05 seconds. Lauren Brown placed third for the girls 60m, with a time of 8.44 seconds, and Rylee Carothers placed 15th with a time of 8.96 seconds.
Du’Zuye Grundy placed 16th for the boys 60m, with a time of 7.60 seconds.
Lauren Brown, Hannah Cooksey, Kate Powell, and Rylee Carothers placed first in the girls 4x200m relay, with a time of 1:55.93. For the boys 4x200m relay, Atherton placed 6th, run by Du’Zuye Grundy, G. Castro, I. Matthews, and Daniel Thompson.
Elise France placed first for the girls one mile, with a time of 6:31.62. For the boys 1 mile, Avery Powell placed first, with a time of 5:01.01. Preston Goodwin, Milo Westbrook, Elliot Williams, and Tabor Schureck placed second, third, sixth and seventh with times of 5:02.36, 5:14.81, 5:25.26,and 5:26.32.
Lauren Brown placed fourth for the girls 200m, with a time of 28.49 seconds. Nariah Murdock placed 14th for the girls 200m, with a time of 30.67. Du’Zuye Grundy placed 15th for the boys 200m, with a time of 24.79.
Wesley Drake, Ava Llaguno, and Callie Whitam placed first, second, and third in the girls 800m. With times of 2:47.11, 2:53.39, and 3:01.30. Nate Celello placed first for the boys 800m, with a time of 2:07.81. Otto Selbig took fourth place, with 2:18.33.
Hannah Cooksey took first place for the girls 400m, with a time of 1:11.00. Daniel Thompson placed 13th for the boys 400m, with a time of 58.30.
