This year is Mrs. Nelson’s second year at Atherton. She is a very popular teacher who has already won over many Atherton students in her time here. Nelson has been teaching for 8 years. Before last year, she taught at Sacred Heart Academy for 5 years and Barret Traditional for 1 year.
She is in room 201 and is located in the world language hallway on the second floor. Her classes include Philosophy and IB SL Junior English. She attended Centre College, where she majored in English.
“I love horror! Horror books especially. Give me an angry girl with a chainsaw overcoming darkness any day of the week,” says Mrs. Nelson.
One fun fact about Mrs. Nelson is that she just recently got a corgi puppy.
“Her name is Ada and she is the tiniest, cutest pup in the world!”
