Mrs. Goodwin is one of our amazing teachers in the Health Science pathway. Her classroom is located on the first floor in the cafeteria hallway. She has worked at Atherton since 2018. She teaches Acute Care Basic Skills, Biomedical Innovations, Medical Terminology, and Emergency Procedures.
Before coming to work at Atherton, where she started her teaching career, Mrs. Goodwin worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse and a pediatric emergency nurse for 18 years. She attended Bellarmine University, where she majored in nursing.
“Outside of school, I love hanging out with my family, traveling, and doing yoga!” says Mrs. Goodwin. Mrs. Goodwin was a competitive synchronized swimmer growing up and taught synchronized swimming at Lakeside for over 20 years. She also used to be the Atherton Swim head coach.
