As the 2024-2025 school year comes to an end, many graduating seniors are embarking on new journeys in their lives. After many years of being in the same place everyday the class of 25 graduates are all going different ways whether it’s starting college, a new job, or taking time off.
Many students are attending local and in state colleges like University of Louisville, Bellarmine University, University of Kentucky, and Jefferson Community and Technical College.
“I am attending UofL and majoring in elementary education which I am really excited about!” Hannah Berry says.
“My plan is to go to JCTC to get certified in plumbing because I want to start earning money fast.” says Qua’neal Banes.
Malachi Barton is going to University of Kentucky as a Public Health major.
“I am feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety about what the future may bring. I’m happy to move onto the next chapter of my life, but I am very nervous about taking the risk that is moving forward in life.” Barton says.
We also have a lot of students attending University of Cincinnati in the Fall.
“ I am excited to go to Cincinnati because I wasn’t sure if it was going to be possible. I plan on majoring in Political Science and I am looking forward to being in a new environment,” Ruth Santiesteban says.
“ I am doing a double major of Ballet at CCM and English at University of Cincinnati,” Caroline Row says.
Some students are also continuing their athletics into college.
“I am going to St. Mary college and majoring in marketing. I am also going there for their cross country team.” says M.C. George.
“ I am going to the University of Kentucky to major in Finance and to play college football.” says Anton Premier.
We also have many kids who are going a little bit farther for their schooling.
