Ms Bennett spends her free time boating or reading books. She particularly enjoys thrillers, books with female protagonists, and books about motherhood, family, and life. If she wasn’t a teacher, Ms. Bennett would be an editor.
Ms. Bennett proclaims her students have taught her valuable lessons, such as insight and different interpretations of subjects from novels to social issues. Furthermore, she has learned to not be afraid to apologize and acknowledge when she’s made a mistake as an adult.
Ms. Bennett’s word of advice to students is to “stay curious, and be a learner.” She describes how apathy is a rising issue among students, and that we must combat it.
