Mr. Hill is one of Atherton High School’s AP’s, and as of now has been at Atherton for three years.
Hill graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Science. He also graduated from Spalding University with a Master of Arts in Teaching, and got his principal certificate from there as well.
Prior to working at Atherton, Hill worked at YMCA as Sports Director before taking his first teaching position at Waggener High School. He also worked as an Implementation Coach for The J. Graham Brown School and Louisville High School before being hired at Atherton as an AP.
For fun, Hill enjoys spending time with his friends and family, as well as going to UofL football and basketball games. He also enjoys going to the gym, and even trains people on the side. He also enjoys reading poetry.
Mr. Hill believes that in order to be successful, one must persevere through and dedicate themselves to hard work.
“You have to be willing to learn from your mistakes and keep your mind and focus on your goal, despite the challenges,” Hill says.
