The Atherton High School Ravens took on the Mercer County Titans in a 28 – 7 matchup in a thrilling back and forth game. The Ravens put up a great fight scoring all 28 points within the first half of the game. Though the game was canceled a few minutes into the second quarter of the game, the Ravens only allowed two rushing yards and 78 passing yards, showing everyone how dominant this defense is. The best performing player of the game was number 4 Garyon Hobbs, who had both a rushing and receiving touchdown. Number 11, Deairus Smith went 6/6 on passing attempts, with 113 passing yards throwing for 3 touchdowns. Even in the thunder and lightning this team couldn’t slow down.
