Atherton has many teachers who have been here since they first began teaching. Mr. Gregory is one of those teachers.
Mr. Gregory teaches Advanced Chemistry, IB Biology for seniors, and a new class, AP Environmental Science. Advanced chemistry is the level above Honors Chemistry. IB Biology teaches topics such as anatomy, physiology, and genetics. AP Environmental Science topics can include energy transfers, thermal pollution, interactions between earth systems, and pollution and human health.
Mr. Gregory has been at Atherton for all 27 of the years he’s been teaching. He has always been good at science, and his father, aunt, and great aunt were all teachers. Teaching was in the family, and that influenced his decision to become a teacher.
