Joining the staff for the 25-26 school year, Emily Derr is a senior at Atherton, and a writer for the Atherton Aerial. She’s been at Atherton since freshman year and is involved in the Choir, and on the Archery team. Derr loves to write, but when she’s not writing she’s singing for choir, performing for theater, or reading. Derr has written stories and plays for fun, and she’s excited to write about her passions -such as bringing light to activities she’s involved in at school- here for the Aerial.  She is looking forward to writing about what she’s involved in at school, and is interested in trying journalistic writing.
