Mrs. Mullins is one of our new teachers this year. She is located on the second floor in room 211 and is near all of the English teachers. Mrs. Mullins teaches both years of IB SL English so she teaches juniors and seniors.

This is her 17th year teaching and before this year, she spent her first 16 years of teaching at Southern High School. She decided to start working at Atherton because her son, Eli Blanton (10) started going here last year.

She attended college at UofL and got her Bachelor’s degree in English. She then decided to get her teaching degree at UofL as well.

“One of my former track athletes became a superbowl champion while playing for the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2023 superbowl against The Philadelphia Eagles.” Mrs. Mullins said, while talking about her past experience as a track coach.

She also has a fraternal twin sister. She also loves football and has season tickets to University of Kentucky Football games.
