This past Saturday, on 11/2, the Atherton Speech and Debate Team(SAD) started the season off with flying colors, taking home the third-place trophy at the first tournament at Beechwood High School in Fort Mitchell, KY.
Here were the results of the final placements:
Congressional Debate – Jackson Guthrie(6th), Quinn Brown(5th), Molly Kate Decker(2nd)
Declamation – Rylan Cole(3rd), Julia Keeney(1st)
Impromptu – Gideon Dunn(4th)
Improv Duo – Holtsclaw & French(4th)
Informative – Rylan Cole(1st)
Storytelling – Lylah Drake(4th)
