The Ravens boys’ and girls’ golf teams have wrapped up another impressive season, with both teams sending students to regionals, girls on September 22, and boys on September 23.
Through a rebuilding year, after many of their best golfers graduated, multiple rain outs, the team had their ups and downs, both individually and as a team.
Many of the raven golfers went to regionals including: Evangelia Grivas, Carter Moore, Oliver Parks, Alexander Dietz, Luca da Silva, and Noe 8th grader Thomas Connally.

But for our raven golfers the season isn’t told by scorecards but told by their personal and team progress, perseverance, and overall connection and emotion.
Girls Golf captain Evangelia Grivas (12) was happy about her improvement in her mental strength and toughness this season.
“I am very proud of my improvement in attitude and regulating my emotions this season. Since freshman year, whenever I would hit a bad shot I would get down on myself,” Grivas said.

Boys golf captain Carter Moore (11) is extremely proud of his boys team and is ready for more years to come.
“This year was a rebuilding year, as we lost many of our seniors. We had a record of 8-1, and nearly everybody on the team qualified for regionals,” said Moore.
The golf team is always open for new members for upcoming years, each and every player has open arms and is excited to teach and grow the sport
“Golf isn’t just a team sport. The team itself is a community, a family. And it is a family that is growing, both in size, but in new players,” said Moore
