Mr. Adams is one of the amazing teachers for Atherton’s health department. Adams has been teaching at Atherton since 1996.
While Adams had always wanted to be a doctor, his fate changed when he was needed to replace his teacher who had fallen ill in a Biology class at the University of Louisville that he was assisting. Adams taught these students for 9 weeks and decided that he wanted to continue his journey as a teacher.
Adams absolutely loves his subjects: metaphysiology and human body systems. His biggest accomplishments here at Atherton are helping his students grow and seeing the parents of students who he had taught before remember him as their favorite teacher. Adams loves working with the students here at Atherton and seeing new faces ready to learn.
“Everytime the bell hits, it’s just great,” Adams said.
