On March 2nd, the Atherton Girls Varsity Basketball team competed in the regional tournament against Dupont Manual High School. After a hard fought battle, the Lady Ravens fell short losing to the Crimsons 73-36. Although the team lost , this amazing set of girls broke many records being the first team in 13 years to have a winning record and compete in the regional tournament.
The Ravens participation in this tournament marked a significant achievement for this program. Their dedication,chemistry, and leadership showed throughout their performance this season and set a strong foundation for next season. The Lady Ravens finished this season with a deep sense of perseverance and they are ready to come back next year even stronger.
