It’s not common for a big headliner to hold a concert in the city of Louisville. But when it occurs, the Ville shows up for their community. Country music star Zach Bryan premiered his Heaven On Top tour’s fourth night at the L&N Stadium this past Saturday. Seats filled around the stadium quickly, proving how big of an artist Bryan has become. Before starting the concert, Bryan had two openers, Kings Of Leon and J.R Carroll.
Bryan’s Heaven On Tour came to be after his newly released album, With Heaven On Top from the beginning of the year. The studio album features 24 tracks, as well as a poem, with a variety of different vocals, rhythm, and instrumental music. His album follows themes of American identity, self-reflection, and heartbreak. The album embodies Americana, which juxtaposes the loves and struggles of the country. Bryan’s infamous song Bad News strikes political views of ICE, chaos in the states, and social division. The song features lyrics such as “ICE is gonna come bust down your door” and “The fading of our red, white, and blue” to describe America’s division along with forgetting the shared unity.
Allie Calvin (12) attended the concert. Calvin has always liked country music, and recently started listening to Zach Bryan when he got more noticed.
“I had a great time at Zach Bryan. I have been a big fan of him since I was very little, and he is one of my favorite artists. It was such a good experience to be able to be in the pit with my friends and be so close to him. And it is one of my most valuable memories now,” Calvin said.
Callie Whitham (12) attended the concert with her friends. Whitham stated “it was life changing.”
“I started listening to him at the end of freshman year, the concert made me like him even more,” Whitham said. “He’s a really good performer, it was my second concert ever. I was close to

the floor, I had good seats.”
The concert lasted for over two hours, with fireworks lighting up the sky during the last song “Revival”. During the song being played, Zach introduces his band members for the last time. Zach Bryan surely made the Ville have a good time for the night with over 30 songs played, and his performance. After the concert, Bryan announced on Twitter that Louisville has been his best crowd by far “That had to be the best crowd I’ve ever played for in my life, or in the running for sure”. Once again, the Ville shows out for their city.
