As the 2026 lacrosse season approaches, anticipation is building all across Atherton. With sticks in hand and hours of preseason training, the Ravens lacrosse team is ready to make a statement this spring. After months of conditioning and team bonding, the squad enters this season motivated and ready to win.
Coming off last year’s hard-fought season, the team returns as a strong contender whose core is built on experienced upperclassmen who bring leadership and confidence to the field. Each year, the team grows. Joey Gundolf (12) is going into his last season and expresses how he’s grown..
“It’s helped me become more disciplined, and I’ve learned to communicate a lot better,” Gundolf said.
Brady Spetz (12) has been on the team for 4 seasons. As he goes into his last season, he’s looking forward to taking on big teams.
“We have never really beaten the big teams, we always beat the little ones. This year we have a harder schedule, and I’m looking forward to playing it,” Spetz said.
With determination, confidence, and strong leadership, the Ravens are ready to chase a winning season. As we count down the days before the first faceoff, one thing is certain: The Atherton Boys Lacrosse team is ready to take on whatever challenge comes their way. Make sure to come out and support your Ravens!
