The themes for Senior Spirit Week have been announced!
The senior class Instagram account posted instructions yesterday, May 5th, for how the class of ‘26 should dress up every day of their last week at Atherton.
Here are the themes:
Monday: Senioritis – dress in comfy clothes
Tuesday: Senior Citizen day – dress as a senior citizen.
Wednesday: Kindergarten you – recreate a picture of when you were a kid.
Thursday: Future Job/Childhood Dream Job – dress as your future job or what you wanted to be when you were younger.
Friday: Human Yearbook – wear a white t-shirt and have people sign it.
Senior Class President Wesley Buchanan (12) is very excited for the week, and was happy that the class officers were able to bring it to life.
“I think it’s going to be very fun and it’s a good last senior year thing to do to bring the class even more together before we graduate. We wanted to do something that was in school, not just like senior sunset and stuff like that outside of school and we thought we wanted to do a spirit week. Things to embrace childhood and remember that we’re graduating and moving on to the next step of our lives,” Buchanan said.
“I’m personally most excited for either the shirt Yearbook Day or dress as your childhood Dream job day because I just get to dress up like a basketball player,” Buchanan said.
“Yeah, we’ve seen a ton of other schools do it and we wanted the last day of our senior year to have a cute one, so we did the yearbook shirt one. I’m excited for the dress like your career day,” said Class Vice President Krystal Batausa (12).
These prompts are for seniors only.
